01 Place
Located in one of Bangkok’s most prominent urban districts, Ploenchit is seamlessly connected to Siam Square, Chidlom, Thonglor, and Ekkamai. This highly sought-after location is equally defined by constant movement, urban intensity, and notorious traffic congestion.
Within this dense metropolitan context, the site calls for a landscape that not only accommodates urban flow and provides a transition from the city to the building, but also creates a moment of refuge—a green foyer that offers a strong sense of nature within the urban environment.

02 Making
TOPOLA Design’s landscape concept for Canvas Ploenchit transforms its compact public space into a sculptural promenade nestled within a verdant embrace. Carefully curated planter archipelagoes are placed in the welcoming plaza, offering moments of respite and connection with nature amidst the urban bustle. Pedestrian flow is subtly guided by the green island, letting pathways wind organically through it, creating a sense of discovery and encouraging exploration leading to the monumental staircase to the upper levels.
The driveway and plaza transcend their utilitarian function, transforming into a continuous floor tapestry. Its abstract design language evokes the city’s dynamic energy flow, creating a visual dialogue between pedestrians and the surrounding architecture.
The living wall has a textured surface adorned with cascading climbers. This vertical green not only adds an inviting visual dimension but also functions as a low maintenance solution, promoting environmental sustainability.
The interplay of organic forms, curated greenery, and artistic expression fosters a vibrant public space that serves as both a tranquil escape and a stimulating social hub.
