01 The Place
Situated at the crest of a woodland-covered hill and embraced by a series of freshwater lagoons, Laguna Lakelands Waterfront Residences and Pool Villas epitomize the essence of a green sanctuary.
Responding to the growing challenge of air pollution in Southeast Asia, TOPOLA Design conceives the landscape as a biophilic filter to safeguard air quality while ensuring residents’ access to clean, breathable environments.
In harmony with its natural surroundings, the development offers a retreat that prioritizes ecological sensitivity and human well-being.
02 The Making
TOPOLA Design draws inspiration from the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing, crafting spaces that encourage a connection to the natural world. These spaces offer residents a sanctuary to unplug from the demands of modern life and recharge both body and mind.
The landscape design language resonates with the angular, crisp architectural expression of the buildings, establishing a dialogue between built and natural elements. A series of diamond-shaped courtyard gardens, each defined by a distinct theme, offer immersive engagement with the landscape.
These courtyards are interconnected by angular pathways that meander through the forested terrain, navigating the topography in a picturesque and deliberate manner. Nature playgrounds, woodland and fern gardens, and lawn terraces punctuated with pavilions foster spaces of tranquility and rejuvenation. Together, they form a cohesive landscape that invites exploration, relaxation, and a deeper connection with nature.
At the rooftop level, sky pools frame panoramic views of the lagoon and surrounding forested hillside. This elevated vantage point allows residents to immerse themselves in the scenery, reinforcing a sense of serenity.
